What is Pancit Bihon?
Pancit bihon, also known as pancit guisado, is a traditional dish from the Philippines that uses rice noodles or rice ’sticks’ combined with pork or chicken, vegetables and soy sauce. As a stir-fry dish, it’s super simple to cook but makes for a delicious, wholesome dish that can be enjoyed for any occasion. The term ‘pancit’ refers to a variety of noodle dishes. You may also come across recipes for pancit canton, which is similar to pancit bihon but tends to use egg noodles rather than rice noodles.
