DPD Hermes

Orientalmart proudly works with DPD to provide with the best possible delivery. Below are the services that we will provide with your delivery.

DPD will let you know when they are coming (to the hour) via SMS or Email so you can plan your day. If your not in, you can arrange to have your parcel left with a neighbour or left in a safe place of your choice.

DPD ensure that your parcel will be delivered within 24hrs after despatch from our warehouse.

A GPS tracking system on the delivery van lets you know where it is and tells you how many stops the driver has before they get to you.

Local Delivery Rates (Nottingham)

We offer a same day local delivery service to selected postcodes within the Nottingham Area

Free Delivery if you order over £50 of goods for local delivery only!

There are no restrictions on total weight of order for local deliveries.

Perishable goods (fresh & frozen)

Please check fresh and frozen items immediately upon delivery, as we cannot accept returns on fresh and frozen items unless they are immediately returned with the delivery driver.

***Please note: Local deliveries will be made between the hours of 7pm - 9pm same day of order. (before 5pm).

Please make sure you are at the address provided between these hours and you answer the drivers call as any redeliveries on days after will incure another delivery charge.

Returns & Refunds


If you wish to return any item after you have recieved your order, you may do so within 14 working days of date of invoice. Items can be exchanged or refunded provided they are unopened in the original packaging and in resaleable condition. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for any fresh vegetables, chilled or frozen items.

*Please note that if you return any item due to a change of mind, you are liable for any return postage costs and postage costs for exchange of item.

Broken or damaged item

We try to ensure all parcels are packaged well but in the event that an item in your parcel is broken or damaged during transit, please contact us straight away within 30 days so we can investigate the cause. We require a photo of the damaged/broken item and start enquires to claim back postage and items costs from our couriers. From this we can then either replace or refund you an item.

Incorrect or missing item

In the unlikely event that an item from you order is incorrect or missing, please contact us straight away and inform our team which item(s) are missing. From this we will send you the correct item and we will be liable for any extra postage costs. We may also ask you to send back the incorrect item for which we will cover postage costs.


If Orientalmart have to issue a refund to you due to any circumstance, this will be issued within 7 working days of the enquiry being raised. Refunds will be issued to the card that was used to pay for the original order.

Your order will be expertly packed and all glass bottles will be wrapped to ensure there are no damages during transit. We re-use good condition boxes to limit wastage. 

Fresh & Frozen Items (outside of Nottingham)

We pack fresh and frozen items using our poly box and sorba freeze ice pack system.

Fees and Delivery Services

There is an extra charge of £3.00 for fresh and frozen items due to the cost of packaging. Express shipping (overnight) will be selected as your shipping method to ensure best possible quality of your products. This will be charged during checkout.

Unfortunately we cannot ship hot pot meats or ice creams using this service.

Dispatching Your Order

We dispatch orders with fresh and frozen items from Monday to Thursday.

Receiving the Parcels

You must ensure that you are at the address on the day of delivery to sign for the parcels.

Any frozen or fresh items that are damaged because of a failed delivery attempt are non-refundable.

Any complaints about the conditions of the fresh and frozen items must be reported to us within 2-3 hours after you receive the parcels. Oriental Mart holds the right to make the final decisions for any complaints after that.

Please note that our ice pack system can keep the frozen items below 3°C upon arrival. The frozen items might be slightly defrosted on the surface, but will still be in their best condition for refreezing or immediate consumption. Once your parcel has been received, please place these items in the freezer straight away.

  • If you spend over £75 online, you will receive FREE Delivery* to anywhere in the UK mainland. This offer is not applicable for orders to non UK mainland destinations ie.(Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man and Channel Islands).
  • *FREE delivery is offered only for ONE parcel up to 28kg. If order is over 28kg, then you will be charged for a delivery fee. ie. If your order is for example 36kg you will receive one free parcel charge and you will pay for one delivery charge.
  • Free Delivery offer can be used in conjunction with discount offers; however, the minimum limit of £75 must be met after discounts have been applied.
  • *If you have ordered fresh/frozen items, and have met the £75 free delivery offer. You will still be charged £3.00 for fresh/frozen packaging.
