Product of the Month - Yopokki Instant Cup

At Oriental Mart, the product of April was Yopokki Instant Cup.

Tteokbokki (stir-fried rice cakes in spicy sauce) is a iconic street food of Korea. It is commonly cooked with gochujang (Korean hot pepper paste) or ganjang (Korean soy sauce). Nowadays, there are various new recipes becoming popular, such as curry, cream sauce and jjajang. However, the classic combination of rice cake and hot pepper paste is still the most preferable in Korea. The chewy texture of the rice cake and the heat from the sauce are absolutely addictive. It would taste even better with malted cheese.

Yopokki instant cup is easy to cook and its flavour is great. All you need to do is just simply add boiling water in the cup and wait for few minutes. The delicious tteobokki would be ready to eat.
