A perfect marinade or sauce for sweet and sticky yakitori grilled chicken.

Quick Recipe

Yakitori (Grilled Chicken Skewers)

  • Heat the oil in a frying pan and place the chicken skewers in the pan.

  • Grill the chicken skewers from (1) well on both sides; place the lid on the frying pan and heat gently over a low heat until the chicken is cooked through.

  • Lastly, remove the lid and increase the heat slightly, cooking the chicken skewers so surface of each chicken piece is crisp and baste with Yakitori no Tare (Grilled Chicken Sauce).




Sugar (Soft Sugar, Granulated Sugar), Water, Hydrolated Soy Protein, Soy Sauce (Water, Soybeans, Wheat, Salt), Fermented Seasoning (Alcohol, Salt, Water), Cornstarch, Salt, Lemon Juice, Colour (E150a), Flavour (Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Corn Oil), Thickener (E415)


This worked really well to make yakitori sticks for a BBQ which everyone loved. Tastes awesome!
