what is gochujang paste?
Gochujang paste is a sweet, spicy paste made from red chilli peppers, glutinous rice, fermented soybeans and salt. It is a core ingredient in Korean cooking and is incredibly versatile.
This Korean chilli paste staple is a great spicy addition to anything from soups and stews to meat marinades and alongside other condiments. You may also find the same kind of thing as a gochujang sauce as opposed to the typical paste form.
